10ICD Code Hub

About this site

This site is an independent, commercially operated reference for all 46,881 ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes used in the United States for medical billing and clinical documentation. It is built for clinicians, medical coders, billing staff, students, and anyone who needs to quickly look up a diagnosis code, understand what it covers, or find its correct billable variant.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by CMS, HHS, NCHS, AHA, or any other government agency or third-party organization. See our Disclaimer for details.

Who this is for

Medical coders confirming a code's billability and its Excludes/Includes rules, clinicians double-checking a diagnosis code before submitting a claim, students learning the ICD-10-CM classification system, and developers or researchers who need a quick lookup without navigating a full EHR coding tool.

How this differs from a typical code lookup tool

Beyond the raw code and description, each page on this site includes the full hierarchy (chapter → section → category → code), plain-language explanations of what each type of clinical note (Excludes1, Excludes2, Code First, Use Additional Code, etc.) actually means, cross-linked references to related codes, and — where a historical equivalent exists — the corresponding ICD-9-CM code from the official CMS crosswalk.

Our site structure, navigation, visual design, and editorial commentary (chapter guideline summaries, category overviews) were built independently and are not modeled on any third-party site's layout or presentation. See our Methodology page for details on data sourcing and update cadence.
